The best possible Euro 2024 rival results for Scotland this week, including how England can help them reach knockouts

Scotland have just one match left in their Euro 2024 group stage to make history and advance to the knockouts.

Scotland earned a hard-fought draw against Switzerland in their latest Euro 2024 outing as they fight to reach the knockout stage of a major tournament for the first time in their history. The Tartan Army secured their first point of the competition following a heavy defeat to Germany in their opening fixture.

Scotland are now third in Group A and a win against Hungary on Sunday could be enough to see them through to the next round. As the four best-performing countries in third place in their groups will progress, Steve Clarke and co still have it all to compete for, but simply winning against Hungary may not be enough to guarantee their spot in the last 16.

Scotland are counting on rivals in other groups dropping points in order to give them the best chance of making it to the knockouts. We’ve taken a look at the remaining fixtures for the second wave of group games and put together the ideal results Scotland need to put them in a strong position ahead of Hungary. Take a look below.
