Names will be mentioned thick and fast but only one person can be named Hibs head coach ahead of next season.
New sporting director Malky Mackay and Easter Road chiefs - with a helping hand from Bill Foley’s Black Knights group - are on the hunt for a new leader. Nick Montgomery has been sacked and another new figurehead is needed for the first team.
There are several men on the lips of fans. Kilmarnock's Derek McInnes is one being touted while Ian Murray, Stephen Robinson, Scot Gemmill, Tommy Elphick and more are mentioned on the bookmakers lists.
They are all currently with clubs, however, so Hibs would need to do some convincing to get them into Easter Road. However, they may also dip into the out of work in-tray of applications, with plenty of experienced coaches available for hire right now.
