Hearts have ended their summer transfer window after a busy period of comings and goings at Tynecastle.
The Jambos hired Wouter Vrancken as head coach after Derek McInnes joined Premiership rivals Rangers and with him have followed a host of new signings. Some initial teething issues against high quality European opponents were present but the club are now unbeaten in seven across all competitions and into the Conference League’s league phase.
Already some of the new recruits have started to shine in Gorgie and there’s reason for optimism over the rest in a recruitment drive heavily backed by investor Tony Bloom’s Jamestown Analytics software. Here’s how we’ve rated the summer transfer window at Hearts.

1. Malachi Fagan-Walcott - 7/10
Injury has cost him a bit of time on the pitch so far but initial impressions showed an athletic defender with key traits that make him seem a perfect fit for Vrancken's system in time. | SNS Group

2. Sabri Guendouz - 6/10
Looked really sharp in pre-season. Hasn't had numerous starts but you can see the technical quality and playmaking ability that attracted Hearts to him. | SNS

3. Laurent Mendy - 8/10
Insert Rolls Royce cliché here. There are moments where his energetic style perhaps leave a gap going back the way but import from Forest Green Rovers looks a classy addition. A threat in the box as shown with goal against Hibs and several chances versus St Johnstone, able to control the midfield, and holds a range of passes. | SNS Group

4. Amadou Ba-Sy - 6/10
French striker offers a more physical approach in attack. Left out the Conference League squad which is a blow but he's still adapting to Scottish football. | SNS
