Hide AdScotRail has announced that its services in regions included in the amber weather warning will end at approximately 7pm.
Its trains in other areas are set to continue operating, but the company urged customers to check live timetables.
The Met Office said earlier today that residents in the amber warning area should expect “heavy and persistent rainfall will bring flooding and disruption to travel.”
Traffic Scotland told followers on Twitter: “Limited service on the rails tonight with no trains running after 19:00 in areas affected by the AMBER warning,” and urged customers to check ahead before travelling.
