Edinburgh-based house builder Avant Homes has opened its new five-bedroom detached showhome

An Edinburgh-based house builder has released the final phase of new homes at its £60 million development in Midlothian - with a variety of different house types up for sale. 

Carnethy Heights, in Penicuik, is a 165-home development comprising of three, four and five-bedroom energy-efficient homes.

Located 10 miles south of Edinburgh, prices for the remaining properties range from £354,995 for the four-bedroom Lenzie style home to £474,000 for the larger four-bedroom Westbury which features a double garage.

Interested buyers can now visit the five-bedroom showhome to see what Avant Homes has to offer first-hand. The ground floor of the Thurso showhome features a bright entrance hallway that leads to a generously sized lounge and a second living space which can utilised as a home office and family room.

At the rear of the property, there is a large open-plan kitchen with integrated appliances, with a separate utility leading off the kitchen.
