Crime: Man arrested and charged after allegedly approaching children

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with reports of children being approached in Grangemouth.

The incidents occurred on Saturday, September 17, when a 15-year-old girl and another group of youngsters were allegedly approached.

The man is now expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Friday, October 7, 2022.

Sergeant Iain Duncan said: “Incidents like this can naturally be concerning for the local community and I’d like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries.”
