Woman, 61, gives birth to own grandchild

A 61-YEAR-OLD Japanese woman has given birth to her own grandchild using an egg donated by her daughter.
The surrogate mother was believed to be oldest woman to have given birth in Japan.

Suwa Maternity Clinic in Nagano, north west of Tokyo, refused to provide information such as the date of the birth or sex of the baby.

The gran is the mother! The sister is the 'mother'. The child is its own aunt/uncle &/or 2nd cousin (I think?) WHAT A COMPLEX mix-up. I wonder who's who in the family line os succession/will!
