Australia: Seven people have been arrested by police in Australia after a $6m Australian dollar (£3 million) credit card scam was uncovered involving information on people as far away as the UK.
Pakistan: A roadside bomb exploded in the north-west of the country today, killing two police officers.

The blast came as the Pakistani military wages a major offensive in the nearby Swat Valley in an effort to eliminate Taleban insurgents near the Afghan border.
