Nine injured in running of bulls

NINE people were injured on the first day of the running of the bulls in Pamplona, the Spanish Red Cross said today.
Spokesman Jose Aldaba said the injuries were mainly bumps and bruises from people falling during today's run.

The mad dash through the cobbled streets of Pamplona was slow, messy and more dangerous than usual because the pack of six fighting bulls became separated about halfway through the route.

Isn't it great that there are still people in this world who are prepared to indulge in such mad activities! And isn't it great that there are local authorites in the world that are still prepared to let them do so, given the nanny-state climate we now live in!

Aye isnt it great that these bulls will die a horrible agonising death eh?...they will be drugged and have the tendons cut in their neck rendering them unable to lift their head properly...they will then be attacked by a human who will stab them slowly to death...whilst a crowd of gouching humans gape in ecstasy...watching their every agonising fear filled breath...

...Aye...isnt it fkn great?
