VIRGIN Rail is refit its £600 million tilting trains running between Edinburgh, Glasgow and London because passengers keep getting locked in the loos.
There have been repeated complaints about the toilets on the 125mph Pendolino trains since they were introduced in 2003, with many passengers seemingly unable to use the hi-tech electric panels and buttons.

Now, I'm no expert but ... I seriously doubt it will cost £600 million to fix some train loos.

My daughter and children went south from Edinburgh last weekend with GNER and changed at Doncaster on to Virgin to head for Plymouth. The GNER coach was spacious and spotless. Apparently (and remember how warm it was at the weekend) the Virgin coach air conditioning was blowing hot air, could not be turned down/off, train was filthy (nor just discarded rubbish) and staff less than helpful. Maybe £600 million should be spent, most of it on teaching staff how to deal with customers and scrubbing the upholstery. Oh, and no, she could not have a 'complaint' form.

#2 - Sounds bad. That's not been my experience of Virgin however, I've always found the staff very helpful on the Glasgow - London trains and all carriages were suitably clean.

Oh dear, what can the matter be?
Three old ladies locked in the lavatory.
They've been there from London to Lockerbie.
Nobody knew they were there.

Jeezo.

I mean , cmon. How difficult is it to press a wee button until it says "locked" or press it again until it doesnt say "locked".

This reminds me that Idiots should not be allowed to use ATMs (note , theres no point in getting a receipt).
