Let's hope the spaceport does get built at Lossiemouth. I've started saving for my ticket already...

First he wants to tackle climate change and green gas emitions now he want to put rockets with people in in the space which will have a cost in the environment as well, so I don't understand much this man, he wants to look good in front of the cameras but then, money is the only important thing. By the way the space is full clutter and rubbish as much as the earth is.

#3 John Smith : It makes sense to try to colonise other planets just in case things go completely to sausages on this one.

Besides, if we can get a lot of polluting industry out into space, it'll be less load on the biosphere.

Really, expansion into space is the only way we *can* expand the economy indefinitely without compromising the biosphere.

We need to get out there, by that I mean the resources, at the moment we are stuck on one small planet with finite resources that are rapidly running out. In space there are immense amounts of energy (solar) materials (asteroids). We need to be able to exploit these resources, do we stay on this rock and slowly go downhill and die or make use of what is available?

It's raining soup out there and we don't even know what a bowl is never mind a bucket, quote from- answers please?
