Branson tops as housemate

RICHARD BRANSON is the celebrity that Edinburgh residents would most like to be their housemate, according to a new survey.
The Virgin founder is the ideal companion for 29.6 per cent of people in the Capital, closely followed by chef Jamie Oliver and Madonna. The research, by wireless internet provider FON, also found Edinburgh residents among the most generous in the UK.

Fair enough choosing Madonna, but what kind of "Edinburgh resident" would choose that smug git Branson or the fat-tongued, mockney, merchant banker as a housemate?

There must have been a very limited choice of people to pick from or the "Edinburgh residents" in question must have been middle-aged, middle class English settlers.
