A NEW military hospital ward is to be built. Defence minister Derek Twigg told of the plans on a visit to the site of
Birmingham New Hospital, which opens in 2010. The facility will be part of University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which manages the city’s Selly Oak Hospital where the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine is based.
