TWO police officers failed to notice a missing man's body while searching his house.
Greater Manchester Police visited the property on Cow Hill Lane, Ashton-under-Lyne in December last year, after 46-year-old Peter Hanrahan was reported missing.

Officers failed to spot his body, which was lying in the cellar, due to "poor lighting".
