Bristol: A murder investigation was continuing today after an elderly man was allegedly killed by a car thief who ran him over after stealing his vehicle.
Detectives cordoned off Green Close, where the victim, in his 60s, was pronounced dead just after 11.30pm on Saturday night.

London: A play which starts with the death of former Tory prime minister Margaret Thatcher is set to open at London's Shaw Theatre to mark the 25th anniversary of the miners' strike.

Maggie's End, sponsored by trade unions including the National Union of Mineworkers, is described as a "dark comedy".
