Horse McDonald has been described as an artist "who wouldn't have been out of place on the Stax or Motown labels in their heyday." Coming up for Air is her 8th album. This is a passionate recording encompassing a wide range of personal experiences on love, loss and learning. "I lost my mum in September 07 after a battle with ovarian cancer and my dad quickly passed away six weeks later. These times have been the most sad and desperate of my life."
