Queen Street reopened after six-car smash

QUEEN Street has reopened after being closed earlier today by a six vehicle collision.
The incident happened between North St Andrew Street and North St David Street at around 12.20pm today. The vehicles are believed to have collided nose to tail.

The driver of the lead vehicle was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

#1 Yeah, cos as the anti-tram brigade are always saying, tram breakdowns will cause chaos because the whole road has to close, whereas car traffic never causes such prob... oh.

But at least cars don't commit genocide... and spread malaria... and abuse small children in the way that trams do. Just ask any desperate anti-tram diehard! They'll tell you they truth. Because regardless of all the official research showing that trams are a good thing, these enlightened souls know the statistically proven facts! (Their granny's next door neighbour told them, one day when she was almost sober.)

Trams were good at one stage.

Then the council took them away. Why?

If it was logical to take them away then, what's changed to make it logical to bring them back?
