Capital to host debate on philanthropy

TWENTY-FIRST century philanthropy and its impact on the charitable sector will be debated at an event in Edinburgh on Monday.
Scotland's Philanthropy Debate will involve a panel including Finance Secretary John Swinney and entrepreneur and philanthropist Dame Stephanie Shirley.
The event, chaired by broadcaster Lesley Riddoch, has been organised by the Scottish Community Foundation, which helps people and organisations give to good causes.
