FALKIRK have enjoyed some memorable tussles with Hearts since their return to the SPL in 2005 and Bairns boss John Hughes is expecting another epic encounter at Tynecastle tomorrow as his team bids to extend their six-game unbeaten run.
"Tynecastle is a great place to play football," said Yogi. "There's always a great atmosphere and the crowd's right on top of you. There are a lot of guys in my squad who relish the thought of playing there. We beat Hearts on our own patch earlier in the season but I'll admit we rode our luck a bit that day.

"The SPL benefits from a strong Hearts side and they are going very well just now. We know that we'll have to be at our best if we're to keep the unbeaten run going."

Hughes is disappointed that former Jambo Neil McCann will not be fit for tomorrow's clash, the veteran midfielder having failed to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered against Inverness last midweek.

"It would have been great to have Neil fit for this one," said Hughes. "He would have loved the chance to take the field at Tynecastle but there's no way we could risk letting him play."

Falkirk have doubts over two unnamed players.

Would taking another 4 goals off them be too much to hope for? If so then I'll settle for just the three points (but what kind of league is it where just three teams have positive goal differences? How does that work?)

Glad McCann not playing the morn... especially after his goal against us last time out.

This is a game we must win not only to go into the the gers game with confidence but because WE SHOULD BE WINNING ALL OUR HOME GAMES AGAINST SO CALLED LESSER TEAMS!

If we are to be serious about getting back to 3rd place proper.

Like to see Glen play at some point tomorrow please Csaba!!

#12 If people are tired of me so be it, I'll keep telling it like it is anyway. And it's nice to have mates isn't it?

As the great Morrissey says:

There are more than enough
To fight and oppose
Why waste good time
Fighting the people you like
Who will fall defending your name
Oh, dont feel so ashamed
To have friends

Bleeding Heart...,

22/11/2008 12:47:33
#14 - NJ does, as he says, "tell it like it is". I know it's painful.

It's not pleasant to read that Romanov sabotaged the best team at Tynecastle in 20 years in order to play real-life "fantasy football".

It's not pleasant to think about the fact that HMFC employed "puppet" managers from October 2005 until the start of this season to satisfy Romanov's delusions.

It's not pleasant to think that Romanov has proved to be a false prophet; that his promises to challenge the Old Firm are worthless.

It's not pleasant to think that Romanov's promise for a new grandstand may be severely diluted, or not materialise at all.

It's not pleasant to know that Romanov holds the fans in such contempt that his stated policy is to starve the fans of meaningful information.

It's not pleasant that Romanov Jnr. can chair the club's AGM and give a shambolic performance in between displaying a patronising, dismissive, attitude to ordinary shareholders who love this club.

None of this is pleasant, but it remains true, nonetheless.

#20 - My "opinion"?

Tell me where what I've said amounts only to "opinion" - as opposed to being a fact. If you can, that is.

Ans since when does having a different perspective from the likes of you amount to being a "walloper"?

You're either immature or a fascist - maybe both, eh?
