THE last in a series of talks by high profile speakers to assess the state of the Union ahead of the Scottish elections, will take place at Edinburgh University.
Former Scotsman editor Magnus Linklater will chair the discussion and introduce a panel including politics professor John Curtice and author and commentator Allan Massie.
They will debate the key issues surrounding the political and constitutional future of Scotland and the UK. This is the final talk in a series to mark the tercentenary of the Anglo-Scottish of Union of 1707.
Previous debates have focused on the treaty's origins and the Union's global consequences. The last one will be held in the Assembly Halls on Tuesday at 6pm.
