Waterway walks provide environmental lesson
MORE than 100 children from two Edinburgh schools are hitting the city's walkways to learn about the environment and boost fitness.
Youngsters from Canal View and Tollcross primaries will take in sections of the Union Canal and Water of Leith every Saturday through the new initiative Feet First,
run by The Waterways Trust, British Waterways and Scottish Natural Heritage.
This Saturday's walk leaves Glenlockhart Road, opposite Napier University, at 10am. All welcome.
