ASDA Chesser has won an award for meeting the needs of guide dog-users.
Profoundly deaf Carole Campbell-Morgan and her dog Georgie, and Mel Richards and her dog Ryan will present a Dog Star Award for service excellence to the store on behalf of all assistance dog users on Thursday.

Awards are given by Assistance Dogs UK – a collaboration of Guide Dogs, Canine Partners, Dogs for the Disabled, Hearing Dogs and Support Dogs – which promotes rights of access for assistance dog-users.

The award recognises firms and services that meet assistance dog-users' needs.
