FIRST DIVISION

Civil Service Strollers 1,
Gala Fairydean 3.

SEVEN yellow cards, two red cards and four goals meant there was no lack of incident in this match. Gala opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Gass made no mistake from close range. On the half hour mark the game erupted when Dickson was sent off for kicking out at an opponent minutes after being yellow carded.

Shortly after Strollers equalised when Whellan met Alexander's free kick. A half time exchange between the referee and the home manager saw him become the second Stroller to be red carded, and on the hour mark Gala went 2-1 up when Jay Wilson's free kick was headed in by Hossack. Gass then sealed the points when he grabbed his second goal of the game.

STIRLING UNIVERSITY made it two wins from two in the First Division with a 2-1 victory in a farcical game in which at Kelso United finished with eight men. Goals from Stirling strikers Stuart Mooney on 30 minutes and Jason Bolam on 82 minutes were enough to see off United, with Kelso's Chris Black having equalised from the penalty spot with 15 minutes left after Stirling's Neil Shave was sent off for an off-the-ball incident in the box.
