STAR full back Chris Paterson has failed a fitness test and misses Edinburgh Rugby's Heineken European Cup visit to London Wasps on Sunday.
Scottish cap record holder Paterson, who has rib damage, is replaced by Hugo Southwell in a team showing three changes from that which lost 16-25 to the English champions last Friday at Murrayfield.

Called up and ready to make his first appearance of the season is Simon Cross while John Houston is also included for the first time since the Celtic League win over Connacht in October.
