ROBERTO LANDI was today sacked by Livingston after barely five months in charge of the First Division club.
Land was relieved of his duties along with his assistant Valter Berlini barely 48 hours following their 2-1 defeat to Third Division East Stirling in the Homecoming Scottish Cup.

A statement issued by the West Lothian club said candidates to take over from the Italian will take place shortly with the hope that a new boss can be installed before Saturday's home league fixture with Dundee.

Reports suggest Davie Hay, who guided the club to CIS Cup victory in 2004 and currently works for the Italian consortium running the club, will take over.
