SCOTLAND are just two places and 15 points behind England in the latest FIFA world rankings.
The Scots remain in 16th place, ahead of Bulgaria and Greece. England have moved up one place to 14th. Fabio Capello's side have overtaken Cameroon, who have dropped two places from 13th to 15th, despite not playing since their June 1 win over Trinidad and Tobago.

Spain remain top of the rankings after their Euro 2008 win, while the team they beat in the final, Germany, have leapfrogged Italy to move into second.

Brazil's poor World Cup qualifying form has cost them two places as they slip to sixth, their worst ranking for 15 years.

Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland hold their places in 32nd and 41st. Wales are up three to 51st between Saudi Arabia and Hungary.
