Train delays this weekend

TRAIN passengers using the west coast mainline are facing delays this weekend due to engineering works.
The line between Lancaster and Carlisle, which is used by travellers from Edinburgh heading to England, will be closed all weekend. The stations will be linked by two replacement coach services, while there are also closures at Rugby for most of the weekend.

Saw the headline and thought 'that's odd, wonder how a train's going to do that, I wonder how late the weekend will be in arriving'.

Never been the same since British Rail became something else.

"Train delays this weekend"! What, no shock, horror RAIL CHAOS then? How disappointing! Furthermore, the East Coast Main Line is the 'main line' from Edinburgh to England!
