BUDGET airline Ryanair has welcomed passengers on board its new route from Edinburgh to Bavaria in Germany.
The low-cost carrier has begun flying three times a week to Memmingham in the south-east of the country.

Ryanair's new winter routes from Edinburgh also include Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife, as well as new routes to Brussels Charleroi, Gdansk and Oslo Torp.

Ryanair's Maria Macken said: "Ryanair is delighted to welcome passengers on board its new service from Edinburgh to Memmingham in the Bavaria region of south-east Germany."
