A CYCLIST is set to travel from Edinburgh to Paris to help raise money for a cancer charity.
Andy McMahon, 36, is taking part in the gruelling challenge from June 6 to help Marie Curie Cancer Care after his mother died in one of the charity's hospices in 2002.

The engineer, from Livingston, said: "I was very impressed by the level of care for patients and support to families and friends who visit the hospice.

"However, I was surprised that 70 per cent of the money needed to provide this vital care and support came from donations."
