DEFENCE lawyers called for judges to postpone their verdict in the Dujail trial of Saddam Hussein, left - expected tomorrow - and let them present final arguments in defence of the deposed Iraq president.
Saddam is expected to be convicted on charges of crimes against humanity and condemned to death. He denies killing 148 Muslim Shiites in 1982.
