QUEEN of the South manager Gordon Chisholm is confident his team have goals in them ahead of their UEFA Cup clash against Nordsjaelland but he will not throw caution to the wind.
The Irn-Bru First Division side are chasing a 2-1 deficit in Denmark tonight as their second-qualifying-round clash comes to a conclusion.

Chisholm is in optimistic mood but he knows his side cannot repeat their poor start to the home leg when sla
ck marking saw them concede from a second-minute corner.

"It would be foolish to go out and leave ourselves open because we are a goal down," the Queens boss said. "I think we have got to be cautious but I feel we are capable of scoring. The first goal is going to be so important."

Chisholm is encouraged by his side's recent form after following their first-leg defeat with away victories over Partick Thistle and a youthful Dunfermline side.

"We have won our last two games 2-0 so the positive thing there is we have kept two clean sheets and scored twice in each game," he said.

"I have been happy with the form of the boys. They have been playing some good stuff, creating chances, as long as we cut out the silly errors at the back.

"It's going to be difficult after losing two goals at home. But we will go out and give our best."
