SHADOW children, schools and families secretary Michael Gove is to visit Edinburgh next week.
He is due to call in at Wester Hailes Arts for Leisure and Education in Westburn and meet students on the access to creative arts programme, before going on to Re-Union Canal Boats to see courses available for children about the ecology and history of the Union Canal and organic gardening programmes.

The visit on Tuesday is in support of Tory candidate Jason Rust, who is standing against Alistair Darling in Edinburgh South West at the next general election.
