Gordon Brown has now taken 5,000,000,000 Pounds per year out of pension funds for ten years. It has devastated pensions in Britain, which was once known for its excellent pensions system.
What's really needed is for Brown to be forced to hand back his ill-gotten gains and fill in the black holes in all our pension funds as well as helping these people.
My worry is that as PM, he'll be able to do for the country what he did for pensions. The man's a walking disaster area.
The much acclaimed Government compensation scheme(FAS) has been up and running two years now.In that time it has dealt with less than eight hundred cases, estimates put the number of pension wind up victims at 80,000+.At this rate of of progress it will take 200 years to deal with everyone.Agreed, pensioners are liveing longer these days, but 200 years???
