Cala chief wins entrepreneur award

A SENIOR figure at housebuilder Cala has been named as one of the UK's leading entrepreneurs.
Geoff Ball, executive chairman at Cala, scooped the "special award" at the Ernst & Young UK entrepreneur of the year final.

The award recognises achievements over a 30-year career – Mr Ball has led Cala since 1974.

The event, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, saw 40 UK finalists compete in eight different categories.
