A SERIES of public meetings is to be held in Gorebridge so local residents can have their say about future plans for the town.
The meetings will provide information on the purpose of Midlothian Council's Locality Plan.

Workshops will provide participants with the opportunity to identify issues and select priorities for action.

Meetings will be held at the Brown Building, Hunterfield Road, on Tuesday, October 7 from 9-11am and 7-9pm and at Greenhall Community Learning Centre, Stobill Road Gowkshill, on Thursday, October 9, from 7-9pm. They have been set up to help to ensure the views, issues and concerns of local people are addressed in the final Locality Plan.

Archie Pacey, Gorebridge Community Development Trust chairman, said: "I hope as many people as possible will take part."
