French group visits its twin

A FRENCH delegation is set to visit a Lothian town to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a twinning agreement.
A party from L'Isle sur la Sorgue will mark the milestone of their town's twinning links with Penicuik during an official ceremony at the town hall.

The French guests are expected to arrive in Penicuik on Saturday and there will be a social event in the West Street Hall.

The contrast between the two towns is astonishing - see Penicuik and die whereas here we have something quite different.
