A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy was rescued by firefighters in Bonnyrigg after trapping his knee in a metal balustrade.
The incident happened at a holiday club at Sherwood Primary School on Cockpen Road at around 1.35pm yesterday.

Firefighters released the boy's leg.

An ambulance attended but he did not require further treatment.
