THE acclaimed play by Liz Lochhead, Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off, is on at the St Bride's Centre, Dalry, tonight.
It covers the dramatic period of Mary's life between her arrival in Scotland and her execution in England at the age of 44.

The play is the first production by the Holyrood Amateur Theatrical Society.

The performance is at 7pm and tickets are £5. Bookings can be made by calling 0131-346 1405.
