LIVINGSTON'S Murray Davidson insists he has not become unsettled after the high-flying West Lothian outfit turned down a transfer-deadline approach from SPL club Motherwell for the 20-year-old midfielder.
Davidson, from Innerleithen in the Borders and once on Hibs' books, played in yesterday's 2-0 loss to Partick Thistle in the Alba Cup at Almondvale, and today assured supporters he is happy in West Lothian, even though Motherwell manager Mark McGhee
could offer UEFA Cup football as well as a chance to showcase himself in Scotland's top flight.
Davidson said: "I am delighted to be at Livingston. I wasn't looking for a move and my agent never informed me there had been an approach. In fact, I don't know if it ever came to that.
The first I knew of it was when I looked on the club website. I am happy here."
Davidson has made some eye-catching appearances this term along with teenager Leigh Griffiths, who has shot the Lions to the top of the First Division after plundering five league goals.
However, Griffiths missed the game yesterday after picking up a bizarre injury running for a bus.
The 18-year-old said: "I twisted my knee running for a bus. I was looking one way at the bus then turned and it happened."
The Lions failed to progress to the quarter-finals of the Alba Cup and suffered their first defeat following seven straight league and cup wins after goals from Chris Turner and Marc Twaddle in the 75th and 78th minute.
