ROBERTO LANDI today revealed he could be without six first-team stars for Livingston's Scottish Cup tie at East Stirlingshire on Saturday.

The Lions, who were beaten 2-1 by Partick Thistle at Firhill on Saturday, had already lost midfielder Murray Davidson, goalkeeper Roddy McKenzie and strikers Leigh Griffiths and Jean Jose Cuenca, but Landi also revealed both Liam Fox and Joe Hamill
are carrying knocks and are doubtful for the trip to Ochilview.

He is also without midfielder Milan Thomas, who played as a trialist against Dunfermline, replacing Davidson. The Frenchman has returned to Lyon for three weeks but Landi has yet to make a decision on whether to sign him.

It leaves the Italian with a major headache as he ponders tactics for what is bound to be a nervy encounter.

The clubs met in the Co-operative Insurance Cup earlier this season at Ochilview with the Lions winning thanks to an extra-time winner from Gordon Smith in a 3-2 victory.

"Murray and Roddy are out for two to three weeks. Leigh is the same and Cuenca is still out with a calf injury. But Hamill and Foxy are only 60 per cent fit.

"I had to gamble playing them against Partick but there is a real risk they will not be fit for Saturday."

At the weekend, Liam Buchanan's opener for Thistle was cancelled out by a Dave MacKay penalty before Stephen McKeown's seventh goal of the season clinched all three points for the Maryhill men.
