LIVINGSTON coach Roberto Landi was today sweating over the fitness of defender Jason Talbot ahead of the trip to Clyde.
The left-back has a muscle injury and has not taken part in full training this week. The Englishman has become a key figure in the team this season, however, fellow Anglo Phil Cave is an able deputy.
Landi said: "Jason is very quick and gets up and down the line to support the attacks. He has been training but not doing everything. We shall see."
Landi is looking forward to having Calum Elliot back because he reckons the absence of the striker and fellow forward Leigh Griffiths played a large part in their 1-0 defeat to St Johnstone last weekend.
Griffiths is still on duty in Hungary with the Scotland Under-19 squad and won't fly home until Sunday, but Elliot is available tomorrow. Griffiths played 60 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan, and ten minutes of the 8-0 rout of San Marino.
LIVINGSTON are facing a threat to have their finances frozen in a row over unpaid bills. Alex Todd has won a court order for an unpaid bill of around £1600, and may now apply for an arrestment order.
