LIVINGSTON top gun Leigh Griffiths has been ruled out for up to five weeks following an operation on his injured knee.
The teenage strike ace twisted the knee last week while running for a bus. The injury meant he missed the Scotland under-19 trip to play Holland in a friendly and Sunday's Alba Challenge Cup quarter-final defeat to Partick Thistle.

It was the first game "Sparky" had missed for the Lions this season and ended their run of seven straight league and cup victories. It also means he will miss the glamour Co-Operative Insurance tie away at Celtic a week on Tuesday. Coach Roberto Landi said: "Normally with an operation such as this it is up to four weeks, but with Leigh being so young, it could be five."

Griffiths, 18, has scored nine goals in nine games for his club, shooting them to the top of the First Division and winning the SFL player-of-the-month award.
