ROBERTO LANDI is hoping tomorrow's All Saints' Day ushers in more luck for Livingston following an October in which the Lions suffered a series of defeats.
The Livingston coach said: "I am glad the game against Morton is on November 1. We did not win a single point in October and even lost a friendly game. Never before have I failed to pick up a single point in a month."

Leigh Griffiths will return t
o the Livingston team after helping Scotland Under-19s qualify for the next round of the UEFA European Championship by topping their group in Hungary. Griffiths played 60 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan, ten minutes of the 8-0 rout of San Marino and was in the starting line-up for the key 1-0 win over hosts Hungary on Saturday, setting up Rangers' Stephen Stirling for the goal.

His return gives Landi the chance to pair "Sparky", scorer of five league goals this term, with Calum Elliot, who has netted six.

It is a mouth-watering prospect for fans and comes just as the Lions' promotion bid has faltered following three straight defeats.

Two of those, against Clyde last Saturday and Queen of the South, were in atrocious conditions and Landi will be hoping for kinder weather tomorrow.

He added: "One of my biggest problems is I don't know the Scottish weather. I don't know if we can play the ball on the floor all the time. Many teams would like a front pair like Leigh and Calum. We may have to change our system to accommodate them but I have good players who can adapt."
