LIVINGSTON have signed former Hearts and Dunfermline keeper Roddy McKenzie, the man who kept goal during the Lions' greatest moment when they won the CIS Cup in 2004.
The 33-year-old has signed a three-year deal after training with the Lions recently.

He has convinced new coach Roberto Landi he can provide the experience needed for his squad, despite being without a club since January when he was released by the Pars. McKenzie played more than 100 games during his first spell at Almondvale, which also saw the team relegated from the SPL.

He spent ten years at Tynecastle where he found his opportunities limited, and also did not enjoy the best of spells in Fife, where he struggled to establish himself.

Dunfermline also fell through the SPL trap-door and McKenzie was replaced by Paul Gallacher.

Lions chairman Angelo Massone said: "Roddy has the right amount of quality and experience to help us achieve our objective of a return to the SPL."
