CALUM ELLIOT is proving there is life after Leigh Griffiths and is determined to continue his scoring feats for Livingston when they face Celtic tomorrow after bagging two in the weekend victory over Dundee.
The on-loan Hearts striker struck twice in the final ten minutes to add to Chris Innes' 40th-minute header.

Elliot, who now has three goals in two games for the Lions, said: "To come to a place like Dundee and get the three points is fantastic
. It is a big scalp and people will take notice.

"It was a great defensive display and we were good on the counter-attack. We took our chances when they came."

Enigmatic boss Roberto Landi sat in the dug-out at half-time, revealing he never gives pep talks during the break because players don't listen. And he says there is much more to come from his Livingston team who are still not playing to their full potential.

"At the moment we're only playing at 50-60 per cent. The players will improve and in another seven or eight matches, you'll see the real power of this team.

"I'm delighted we're top of the league and that's a reward for that hard work we've put in on the training pitch.

"It's fantastic and now we'll go to Celtic Park full of confidence.

"I don't like to talk to the players too much at half-time. At half-time the manager speaks and the players, well, it goes in one ear and out of the other.

"We work hard during the training sessions.

"But I know from my experience that, when the manager talks, you see the faces go."
