"I broke the television, I must tell the truth," Montezemolo told a news conference at a Ferrari event in Mugello on Sunday.

The teams always try and console themselves by saying that the Constuctors title is more important. However, no-one remembers who won that, but we tend to remember the Champion of a specific year. As for marketing, who buys a car because a manufacturer won the world championship, as opposed to a car that was driven by Senna, Prost, Hill, Schumacher, Clark, Stewart, Hakkinen, Alonso, Raikonnen or Hamilton? I know that most purchasers don't even make the link, but for those that do, it's because of the driver, not the team.
As for Luca di Montezemollo's telly, I'm sure that Bernie will give him a new one.
