Lebanon: Italian soldiers began arriving today as part of the first large contingent of international troops dispatched to boost the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon since a truce between Israel and Hezbollah guerrillas was agreed three weeks ago.
Haiti: Wearing white dresses and black masks, 150 rape victims marched through Haitian capital Port-au-Prince to demand justice and an end to discrimination.

Rape, which is rarely prosecuted in Haiti, carries a stigma against victims.

So the Italian troops have arrived in Lebanon.to boast the hard pressed UN in Lebanon. no doubt Israel will know that the Italians are well known for changing sides as quick as lighting as we saw during the 1939-45 WAR.

Mick Maroon,

And 1914-18 james? Silly man

3

james,

England 02/09/2006 14:57:40

Nit i was on about the 1939-45 War.

4

Yoram,

Hadera 03/09/2006 23:10:44

Scotsman reports about Italians arriving to Lebanon although Italians lost every war in the 20th century and they helped nobody in 1982 in Lebanon.

Yet Scotsman fails to post an article about forced conversion to Islam of Centanni and Wiig or about recent call to conversion by al-Zawahiri.

Who defines Scotsman priorities? Hezbullah?

5

Yoram,

Hadera 03/09/2006 23:21:10

But when Scotsman does decide to report an important event, murderers become victims and victims turn into murderers:
http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=2355432005

How does a respectable and independent Scotish publication become a mouthpiece for Jihadists?

6

Yoram,

Hadera 03/09/2006 23:40:00

My hypothesis to @5:

Scotsman must maximize revenue. Publishing a story up Arabs blowing up Jews is old news and so it will not generate as much business (revenue) than a story about Jews blowing up Arabs.

Hence:
http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=2355432005

Even if it is wrong.

What does it make Scotsman?

And in the long term, how productive would be such a business strategy?

7

Yoram,

Hadera 03/09/2006 23:49:36

See the next article:

The Jew "claimed" but the Arab "said"

If you saw my NUMEROUS postings during the last war, it was easy to stop it:

1. return the 2 kidnapped soldiers
2. implement 1559

Of course, the Jew's calls would be rejected anyway.

8

Yoram,

Hadera 04/09/2006 00:02:55

Another theory:

Olmert tries to save Seniora's honor and he calls him to talk peace.

If Fuad listens to at least 50% of his citizens, he stops supporting Hezbollah and talks peace with Israel. He looks good in the eyes of majority of his people and he wins Nobel Peace Prize.

If, on the other hand, Fuad Seniora continues to side with Nasrallah, he blames Olmert for pretending to make the calls but promising to ignore them anyway.

Fuad thinks the world is behind Nasrallah although recent surveys show that Nasrallah's popularity is dropping because of devastation he provoked.

Have you read recent review of Nasrallah's popular rating in Scotsman?"

9

Yoram,

Hadera 04/09/2006 00:06:32

Now take Olmert's position:

Israelis think that he mishandled the war. So his days are numbered.

Unless he makes PEACE with another country. And wins a Nobel Peace Prize, getting himself on par with Peres and Rabin.

Do you think he did not try calling Seniora?

10

Yoram,

Hadera 04/09/2006 00:14:29

Which brings another question:

Why Scotsman still did not publish an article about death of Naguib Mahfouz, the only Muslim winner of Nobel prize in Literature and one of the FIVE Muslim winners of Nobel prize ever, including Arafat?

Is it because Naguib supported peace with Israel?

11

Listen Ear,

04/09/2006 07:00:32

Yoram, The Israelis have already blamed Olmert for the failed slaughter of innocent people inLebanon..

His days are numbered!

12

Hugh Jars,

04/09/2006 12:20:32

Yoram @ 10; there are three articles on Naguib Mahfouz which can be found in the Scotsman online.

The initial Reuters article on 30 Aug is at:
http://news.scotsman.com/latest_international.cfm?id=1279...

The Scotsman article, 31 Aug (with comments) is at:
http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1284562006

And the Obituary entry of 1st Sept is at:
http://news.scotsman.com/obituaries.cfm?id=1289472006

Hope this at least clears up that post..

13

Yoram,

Hadera 04/09/2006 14:21:14

Thank you, Gordon, for reference. Naguib Mahfouz was a hero and his memory deserves at least three articles.

14

Yoram,

Hadera 04/09/2006 21:49:59

Back to a new invitation to convert to Islam just two days ago:

"We invite all Americans and believers to Islam, whatever their role and status in Bush and Blair's world order," Gadahn says. "Decide today, because today could be your last day."

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/09/02/zawahiri.tape/

This is not important enough news for Scotsman to mention. Just like completely ignoring forced conversion to Islam of two kidnapped Western reporters in Gaza.

On the other hand, Scotsman has posted at least sixty five (65) articles about Jihadist prisoner abuse in Aby Ghraib.

Would using female underware to humiliate prisoners be more or less offensive than a forced conversion to Islam?

jjulie,

Well if your happy that the UN - italians and whoever will not help us...and that there isn't anyone out there to help us...

Then we'll need a miracle before the day Israel decides to come in - wipe out and re-occupy Lebanon.

May a miracle happen before it does - and hopefully not by an Islamic group. Since they are viewed as terrorists by many. May the blame be put on those truly to blame. ISRAEL.

16

jjulie,

07/09/2006 19:57:10

I wish Nagib Mahfouz was still alive - to see what he would say about what happened in the last war.

He is correct to put Al-quaida on his terroristic list. But i have already explained the difference between al-quaida and Hezbollah - it seems you don't want to listen.

Anyway...who ****** ****** cares. Hezbollah knows the truth. And ********* all terroristic groups that make all muslim groups look like terrorists. May the truth reveal itself with time. NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS.

17

Bern,

08/09/2006 07:15:56

For Julie only

Regardless of whoever, anyone with the intention to start a fight or plot starting a war and thus result in killing taking place, is all terrorism. Obviously, Nasrallah is not interested in peace with Israel or otherwise he would not have gone ahead with his plans to attack Israel in the first place.

If it wasn't for Hezbollah, Lebanon would not have been in chaos today!! So, Blame Hezbollah for the existing destruction of Lebanon and civilian casualities.

On Israel pre-planned the war as you claimed it, I had already discussed it with Rob earlier on. I don't like making a repeat here again. You are entitled to have your own opinion and I have mine.

You wrote "The Iranian President mentioned what you said but didn't act it out." Have you been following the latest news?? If so, then you knew Iran has not yet acquired nuclear weapons. Operation to develop the atomic bombs and uranium enrichment are still in progress and on-going stage in Iran. So, Israel is safe for now. However, if there's leadership change in Iran in future, dealings of such issue may or may not differ.

18

Bern,

08/09/2006 07:24:52

James

Rob doesn't has an answer to your simple question or perhaps he's trying to evade your question so as not to put a blame on Hezbollah. That's why he changed subject and brought up an old issue he already discussed with me earlier on!!

So James, don't let him fool you! IGNORE his #125 (on another page). Go on to your own question of "How..........?". After all Rob possess very wild imagination and you know he's at his guessing nuts game of making-up stories again. Anyway, the journalists covering the events taking place are smarter than him.

19

Listen Ear,

08/09/2006 08:02:14

Bernard,

James asked 'HOW 'did so many Hezbollah rockets land on Israel Towns and Cities

How Many;
It was claimed by Israel that 4,000 had been fired at Israel.

How did they Land in Israel;

We all know how Rockets Land In Israeli Towns and Cities.. They are fired up into the air at Mach 2,,
They then fall to the ground and explode on impact.

They could have been fired by Hezbollah, from right under the nose of thousands of Israeli Soldiers (Up to 30,000 were reported to be in Lebanon), helicopter Gunships, manned and unmanned spotter aircraft, F15's F16's, Photo Recon aircraft and Satelittes.. With Mobile artillery that would launch a GPS targeted artillery counter barrage at the launch site

or

They could have been fired by Israeli Military from inside Lebanon. This could explain why so many Katyushas missed their targets and landed harmlessly in fields

or

they could be delivered by Israeli Truck to a field near a town or next to a building that has been evacuated and blown up so it looks like it was fired from Lebanon.

or

It could be a small explosive charge being detonated in a dustbin , or car By Israeli Government to make it look like an katyusha fired from Lebanon.

I ask the Question...

Has the Israeli Propaganda machine EXADURATED THE NUMBER OF ROCKETS FIRED?

The Israeli Government are the only ones that can tell us how many rockets landed in Israel.
(Other Witnesses such as the UN Obsevers, Hezbollah, Local Civillians were killed by Israeli Bombing; People driving in cars were warned to stay away or be targeted by Gunships... No Witnesses)

By exadurating the number of rockets fired by Hezbollah, it created sympathy in the USA & Around the world... The Sympathy generated ensures big buck donations from the Good Old US of A

George Bush felt real sorry for the Israelis and sent more Bombs, Jet Fuel and Cash...

Tony Blair refuel

20

Bern,

08/09/2006 08:59:36

Rob

I was amused to read your post at #19.

It was somewhat repetition statements already made earlier on the other page!!!

James main question is: How did so many Hezbollah rockets fall on Israeli towns and cities?
And not - how many Hezbollah rockets fall on Israeli towns and cities? Not on how the rockets explode?.....

I'm not going to answer this for you. Reply to James. He's your questioner.

21

james,

England 08/09/2006 14:00:12

Bernard. you hit the nail on the head. you have given ROB and other Hezbollah supporters a head start in answering my question.let's see if they got the intelligence to carry on where you left off Bernard.

22

jjulie,

08/09/2006 17:16:43

Bernard,

Why fear Iran for trying to aquiring nuclear weaponary and ot fear America for maybe smacking Iraq or Afghanistan with one sometime in the future as it did with Japan. RIGHT - WAR AGAINST TERRORISM...

WHY SHOULDN'T THE ARABS FEAR AMERICA ...

I GUESS WE ALL HAVE SOMEONE TO FEAR...
THE DIFFERENCE IS - AMERICA HAS ALREADY BROUGHT ITS TERROR TO LIGHT IN MANY PREVIOUS WARS AND ONGOING WARS.

IF IRAN IS TRYING TO AQUIRE NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR THE REASONS YOU BELIEVE - THEN BLAIM AMERICA FOR HAVING NUCLEAR WEAPONS AGAINST THE WORLD...IT ISN'T FAIR THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE AND OTHERS SHOULDN'T...

PS: I read in an article written by an American on the internet that they are planning to totally get rid of Islam...they claimed that in the future America would probably hit Saudi Arabia with an atomic bomb aiming straight for Mecca. Well what do you know - the very non-democratic country which America is allowing to give its interference on the war on Lebanon and in its war against Terror - israel vs Hezbollah...In time it will also create some excuse to come against the other arab countries. And whence its finished with the Arabs - i wonder who it will move onto next. UNLESS IT STICKS TO IT'S JEWISH LEADERS AND UNLESS PRESIDENTS LIKE TONI BLAIR STICK TO PRESIDENTS LIKE GEORGE BUSH'S ASSES...AMERICA WILL KEEP ON TRYING TO USE ITS ARROGANT WAYS AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD. BUTTING INTO EVERY OTHER COUNTRY'S BUISNESSES AND WARS.

AFTER ALL - IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST AND NOT THE HONEST-THERE DAYS BEGIN SOME PLACE ELSE

23

Bern,

09/09/2006 08:38:23

JUlie 22

Who are you fooling, trying to be too smart??? Don't expect me to believe you can predict or forecast what the future actually holds, to the extent of making baseless claims that US will one day hit Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries or getting rid of Islam, in reference to an article on the internet!! These malicious assumption are without sufficient evidence to support your allegations except some cheap gossips!!!

US has nuclear weapons for so many years. If US wanted to, she (apart from the ones to end the 2nd World War) would have used them against her present enemies by now!
Most European countries and US are against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons for the obvious reasons. Where international politics and Iran are concerned, they are wiser and knowledgeable than you are!!

Iran has clearly brought its terror to light by publicly funded and supplied weapons to Hezbollah and supporting terrorism. If Lebanon is in total ruin today, BLAME HEZBOLLAH AND IRAN for creating unnecessary war against Israel!

24

james,

England 09/09/2006 09:10:00

What did you expect from Julie. Bernard? distinguisged in talent or sensibility surely her comments that the US will one day hit Saudi Arabia shows that Julie's arrogance and egotism an arrogance all too often accompanied by political imbecility or in other words more nonsense and total gibberish.about the US.
