A RUGBY clubhouse will play host to a glitzy night of fundraising later this month complete with scantily clad waiters.
Boroughmuir Rugby Club is to host its first Ladies Night on Friday, 13 November, from 7pm.

Proceeds will be split between Breast Cancer Edinburgh and the club's development fund.

Karen Forgie, bar manager at Boroughmuir, said: "It's not often that we get to do something for our female visitors. Week after week we have our female contingent in here supporting the boys, so we thought it was about time we changed that.

"This is a great excuse for regular and new visitors to come along to the club and see what we have to offer, and it gives us a reason for us to get out of sports gear and into some more glamorous attire for a change."

Top brands and high quality bags, cosmetics, lingerie, handmade gifts and cards and jewellery, will be on offer on the night and to make the night go with an extra twist, ladies can also enjoy having their professionally mixed cocktails served by scantily clad waiters. There will also be wine tasting and a pop quiz.

Tickets cost £5 and are available by contacting Boroughmuir Rugby Club on 0131-443 7571.

I hope they raise money for a charity in support of fighting a disease which affects both men and women but the club's development fund?. Is it legal for them to advertise a night in a club? Is it a club or a pub licence? Just asking, anyone know?
