Robbers smash patio door in jewellery theft

THIEVES stole jewellery from a house after climbing the garden fence and smashing a rear patio door to gain entry.
The culprits struck at the home in Inchwood Avenue in Bathgate, West Lothian, between 7.30pm and 11.45pm on Monday. A large quantity of jewellery was stolen, as well as cash.

Meanwhile, a blue Suzuki GS125 motorbike was stolen from Elizabeth Drive in Boghall between 6pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday.

A blue Yamaha WR450 motorbike was also stolen from an unlocked hut in Leishman Court in Armadale between 10pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

And thieves made a failed attempt to break into the Croftmalloch Inn in Whitburn between 11pm on Saturday and 7.30am on Sunday.
