HARRY POTTER creator JK Rowling says she will continue with the formula that made her the world's best-selling author.
The Merchiston-based writer, who is rumoured to have been working on a detective novel, said: "I'll continue writing for children because that's what I enjoy."
And she has returned to the type of setting where she penned her first magical tale – city cafes.
"I am very good at finding a suitable cafe," she said. "I blend into the crowd and, of course, I don't sit in the middle of the bar staring all around me. In 90 per cent of the cases, it's the cafe's staff who allow me to work without being bothered."
She also confirmed her next work will not involve Harry or Hogwarts. "I believe that it's good for me and good for my readers that I bring myself to work on something different," she said.
